ECO SEED (low grow fescue) Mixture is a combination of improved fine fescues that results in an attractive turf stand if mown or a functional ground cover when left unmown. ECO SEED Mixture does not require high levels of management once established and has great drought tolerance adapting to most soil conditions. If left unmown the maximum height will be between 10 to 12 inches. ECO SEED is an approved Turfgrass Water Conservation Alliance seed mixture.

• Slow Growing, Mow Less, Resilient Turf: Fine fescues for attractive turf stand if mown or unmown; Lush, non-competitive growth for great companion for wildflower establishment; Ideal for areas that are difficult to maintain
• Maintenance: Best results under low management with limited fertilizer and irrigation; Mow between 2-4 inches but regular mowing not required; If left unmown, burn or mow area, remove clippings yearly to rejuvenate turf stand
• Growing Condition: Full sun to heavy shade; Drought tolerant, adapting to most soil conditions, from very sandy to heavy clay; Final turf stand is very fine textured; Long-term stand reaches height of 10-12 inches when unmown
• Seed Coverage & Germination: New lawn 6-9 lbs per 1000 sq ft (275-400 lbs per acre); 5-8 lbs per 1000 sq ft (250-350 lbs per acre); Overseeding germination in 7-12 days under ideal conditions
