The pardon crucifix in particular was granted indulgences by Pope Pius X in 1905, however, those particular indulgences are no longer valid or included in the new Enchiridion. Don’t stress - one may obtain a partial indulgence for using any crucifix devoutly that has been properly blessed by a Catholic priest. The pardon crucifix is still a very popular and beautiful crucifix choice. This particular model has a decorative background, comparable to swirls, that adds a touch of elegance to the design.You will receive 3 of these crucifixes, enough to make 3 rosaries or Catholic necklaces. This crucifix measures approximately 2 1/8" in height. Crucifixes may be added to a chain to wear as a necklace (chain not included). For rosary making, we recommend pairing this crucifix with a centerpiece that measures approximately 1" and beads that are about 8 to 10 mm. These crucifixes are made in Italy with silver oxidized plating that has a three dimensional depth and beautiful brilliance.
