The Meinl handheld brushed steel cowbell produces a bright tone with plenty of volume to shine through plus a filling sustain that helps carry your playing. The handheld version is made to be held in the hand while playing to naturally control projection and overtones by altering your grip. This simple design means it can be easily played by any musician with or without percussion experience. For percussionists and drummers, this bell can shape virtually any piece of music. Its response can easily cut through the mix or sit back for lower volume settings. The balanced timbre sounds great under studio microphones, and the bell can open up live on stage to fill large spaces with sound. This cowbell measures 6 1/2" long with a big mouth (having a big mouth opening gives the cowbell a well-rounded, low pitch).
