Kudo Adriatic Fish Cold Pressed Dog Food

Kudo is one of the highest meat content cold-pressed foods we’ve ever stocked! The Adriatic Fish recipe contains 32% dehydrated fish and 14% fish oil – which may not seem like a lot at first glance, but lets break it down: 

Kudo starts with fresh fish meat, which naturally contains around 70% moisture. That moisture is gently removed before the fish is blended with the other ingredients. What remains is the same fish meat, just without the water, meaning the percentage on the label reflects the true amount of fish in your dog’s bowl. 

Approximately 1.2–1.5 kg of fresh fish is used to produce every 1 kg of Kudo cold-pressed food. That’s three times more meat than some other leading cold pressed brands. 

The benefits of feeding cold pressed dog food 

Cold-pressed dog food is made differently from traditional dry dog food. Most kibble is produced using high-temperature extrusion, where ingredients are cooked at very high heat before being shaped into pellets. 

Cold-pressed food is made at much lower temperatures, where the ingredients are gently pressed together instead. This gentler process helps preserve the integrity of the ingredients and produces a food that breaks down more easily during digestion. Additionally; cold pressed food does not swell in the stomach in the same was as many traditional kibbles, making it a better choice for dogs who are prone to bloat.
