The KW4510G-HOT filter cartridge can be used in both cold and hot applications up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. The cartridge is made of 100% polypropylene which makes it a compatible filtration media capable of filtering a vast array of fluids. The rigid poly-spun construction effectively removes dirt and sediment with impressive flow rates of up to 20 gallons per minute. Each cartridge contains three distinct micron layers of filtration. Larger particles are trapped near the exterior surface and progressively finer particles towards the filter core. Thus the cartridge has exceptional solids-holding capacity and will perform longer. Please note the exact length dimension is 9.875" and is often referred to as a 10 inch cartridge in the water filtration industry. Made in the USA
