This is the Cadillac of Paraffin Lamp Oil and it’s Kosher, Eco-Friendly, Readily Biodegradable, and Virtually Odorless. It Does Not Contain Any Hazardous Chemicals Listed Under the US Clean-Water Act nor California Prop. 65; For Indoor and Outdoor Use.

NOT FOR USE IN VESSELS THAT REQUIRE BIO-FUEL like table-top fireplaces and fire pots

There is a light scent of Eucalyptus When You Smell it in the Bottle. When Burning, the Critters can Smell it But You May Not.

Great Substitute for Kerosene Providing a Long Burn and Bright Flame.

For Use in Tiki Torches, Oil Candles, Lamps and Cold-Blast Lanterns
Let’s look at Performance and Burn Characteristics… SMALL WICK PERFORMANCE Paraffin Lamp Oil is Smokeless when used in vessels that utilize a small (1/8”) or flat wick (1”) for example… liquid oil candles, oil lamps, cold-blast lanterns, hurricane lanterns, DIY mason jars, etc. LARGE WICK (3/8″+) PERFORMANCE (Tiki Torches and Wine-Bottle Oil Lamps) The larger the wick, the more potential for smoke. Smoke or no smoke depends on the height of the wick. Here is what we suggest… Set the wick ever so slightly above the wick holder, just a nub to reduce smoke and conserve fuel. The flame will reach its maximum height within a couple of minutes. Please note that in a windy environment, the flame will break and produce puffs of smoke.
IMPORTANT TIPS
To Achieve the Best Performance - 1) Don't Mix Different Fuels. 2) Use a Clean, Uncontaminated Wick. 3) Keep the Wick Height to a Minimum which Inhibits Smoking and Conserves Fuel. Always Use in a Well Ventilated Area and Never Leave Your Candle or Lantern Burning Unattended.

TROUBLESHOOTING
The two variables that affect results are contaminated wicks and wicks that are simply exposed too much. Your candle, lantern, or torch wastes fuel and smokes excessively when the wick is over exposed.

The wicks should not be exposed more than just a nub above the wick holder to provide a nice flame and conserve fuel. We keep ours flush with the wick holder.

Be aware, if you are making your own DIY torches, make sure the wick holder is not too tight because it will restrict the flow of fuel. If the wick holder is too tight, your torch will not burn. Also be sure to use high-quality, fiberglass tiki torch wicks.

NOTE: NEVER MIX this fuel with another fuel or use a contaminated wick. We suggest using a new wick
