Inside the housing is the 5 watt UV lamp. Water flows through the sterilizer chamber and comes in contact with the UV lamp that helps eliminate harmful bacteria that can harm fish, plants and corals and affect the overall appearance of your aquatic environment. It is designed for attachment to the existing BioCube® pump for easy set-up and use. To use with other aquariums, it also includes a universal adapter and tubing that connects to a pump.
