This Carlisle 4314107 8 oz. clear cup is a measuring cup for measuring and pouring wet and liquid ingredients. It is made of polycarbonate for resistance to detergent, stains, acids, and breakage, and has red measuring lines for US measurements and blue measuring lines for metric measurements. The measuring lines are located on the inside of the cup to facilitate reading from overhead for accurate measurement. This measuring cup has a spout to facilitate pouring liquids from the front, and oval-shaped walls to facilitate dispensing wet and liquid contents from the non-spouted side. It is dishwasher-safe, meets NSF International standards for use in food handling and processing, and can be recycled at facilities that accept containers with the resin identification code number "7."
