Blazer Low "Sacai - Kaws Red" DM7901 600

The Kaws x Sacai x Nike Blazer Low “Red” is a three-way collaboration that pairs the Brooklyn-based artist with Chitose Abe’s high fashion brand and Nike on the retro basketball shoe. A November 2021 release by Nike, the Blazer in “Team Red” is yet another instance of Sacai and Nike recruiting a third party, in this case Kaws, on a high-profile sneaker release in 2021. Sacai and Nike have also collaborated with Fragment and Undercover on various shoes in 2021, in addition to this Kaws co-designed colorway. The upper features a Maroon leather base with layered red and blue Swooshes on the sides. Additional red accenting appears on the eyelets where a blazing red suede panel is placed above a yellow suede overlay. Dual laces in red and tan sit on a double foam padded red tongue with two white Nike branding logos on each tongue tag. Four stacked white rubber panels extend from the midsole to cover the lower portion of the heel. Kaws's signature “XX” motif is molded onto the midsole. Release date: November 27, 2021
