The Black Stallion JF5000-NV AR/FR Canvas Duck insulated bomber jacket is made of 10 oz. cotton/nylon canvas duck that is also water repellant. It has a removable hood with neck closure and drawstring, FR taped front zipper and protective flap and snaps and an elastic waist to help keep out wind and rain. An easy ID FR patch and NFPA badges are displayed on the left shoulder. This is NFPA 70E compliant; PPE Category 3 (ATPV 35 cal/cm), UL Certified: NFPA 2112. Great for construction, oil and gas, electrical utility, industrial and welding applications. Available in sizes M-4XL. **NOTE: FR (flame-resistant) garments are light weight breathable protection that is mainly used for light welding, cutting, and grinding. 'Flame-resistant' means when a spark(s) lands on the garment, the garment will extinguish itself (it wont continue to burn) and sometimes the spark can create a hole on the garment. Consider leather for full protection for applications that are more than light-duty welding, cutting, and grinding.
