Famed artist KAWS has been rather reclusive since discontinuing his streetwear brand OriginalFake, only showing face for the occasional high art project or worthwhile collaboration. Jordan Brand commission him for the latter; his canvas: the Air Jordan 4. The result, magnificent. The KAWS x Air Jordan 4 features a buttery premium suede upper in smooth and heathered textures, all drenched in a tonal grey colorway. KAWS hand graphics are etched into the upper as well, along with the matching hang tag. The midsole and upper “Wings” are also wrapped in suede. Finally, a glow in the dark sole completes the look.
