Ortho® Orthene® Fire Ant Killer1 can be used in home lawns and around ornamental plants (including flowers, trees, and shrubs). Sprinkle dry powder over each mound, referring to the package label for the amount to use. This product can be used along with Ortho® Fire Ant Killer Broadcast Granules as part of the Ortho Fire Ant 2-Step Program. Ortho® Orthene® Fire Ant Killer1 treats up to 162 mounds.
